From settings to
your first self-service order.

NeroPOS → Settings → Self Kiosk

Enable your kiosk.

Switch on Self Kiosk in NeroPOS Settings. Choose your ordering and receipt preferences, then save.

Pair your device.

Open your kiosk link on the customer-facing screen and use a one-use pairing code from your settings. Select your payment terminal.

Test it. Then welcome them.

Check your products, options and payment flow. Once enabled, Self Kiosk is also available from your NeroPOS menu.

Is Self Kiosk really free?

The Self Kiosk software is included with NeroPOS, with no additional kiosk software subscription. Hardware, card processing and SMS usage are charged separately. Ads Builder is an optional one-off upgrade.

Where do kiosk orders appear?

Orders are recorded in NeroPOS, so your team can manage them alongside your other POS orders. Customers receive an order number and the completion message you configure.

Can customers pay by card or cash?

Card payments are taken through the paired payment terminal. You can also enable a pay-at-counter option. Selecting cash creates an order that still needs to be paid at the counter.

Can anyone place an order through the public link?

Visitors can view your kiosk, but a device must be paired before it can place orders or request a card payment. Generate a one-use pairing code and manage paired devices in Self Kiosk settings.

Does it work with my product options and promotions?

The kiosk uses your configured product options and notes, plus eligible promotions and gift cards. Select the NeroPOS channel when creating a promotion for kiosk use, and check its other eligibility rules.

Can I use my own logo and adverts?

Yes. The optional Ads Builder upgrade lets you add your own branding and decide whether to display NeroPay branding. Use ready-made designs or upload supported MP4, GIF and PNG files up to 10 MB each.

Can customers receive a receipt?

You can enable email or SMS receipts in kiosk settings. SMS is optional and uses your merchant’s SMS allowance and pricing. Choose the receipt options that suit your business.

Is it only for restaurants?

No. Self Kiosk can also display products and services for retailers, barbers, nail salons and spas. An order for a service does not by itself reserve an appointment slot; use your booking workflow where an appointment is required.
