A CLEARER START TO THE CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP

Less back-and-forth. More shared understanding.

Put the scope of work, customer details and payment rules together before the work begins.

An agreement they can review

Write a formatted contract with headings, a summary and commercial details. Share the customer review link or send it by email.

The right details before signing

Allow customers to correct permitted contact details and, when useful, complete a configurable intake form before the signing step.

Payment rules that match the agreement

Choose no payment, the full amount, an upfront deposit or a custom amount due now. Keep payment status separate from the contract status.

FROM FIRST REVIEW TO NEXT STEP

A joined-up journey. Separate records.

Choose the steps your agreement needs. A signature confirms the signing step; the payment result confirms whether money was paid.

1

Prepare the contract

Add your terms, customer details and summary. Decide whether a signature, intake form or payment step is required.

2

Invite the customer to review

Share the review link. The customer checks the agreement, provides required information and signs when you have enabled that requirement.

3

Collect and follow payment

If payment is required, the customer continues to hosted checkout. Follow the recorded contract and payment statuses before starting the agreed next step.

Contract: sent

The customer understands the agreement.

They review your terms and summary. An optional intake form can collect relevant details before signing.

BUILT AROUND YOUR AGREEMENTS

For work that starts with a clear commitment.

Use a contract when the customer needs to understand the scope, responsibilities and payment arrangement—not just click a pay button.

Service and project agreements

Document the scope of work, relevant responsibilities and the amount agreed before you begin the project.

Bookings with agreed terms

Set out the service, booking terms and upfront payment arrangement so the customer can review them together.

Customer onboarding

Request the relevant intake information, allow permitted detail corrections and present your agreement for review.

YOU CHOOSE THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY

Match the steps to the agreement.

Not every contract needs the same process. Choose the relevant customer details, signing requirements and payment rule for each agreement.

Optional customer intake

Add relevant form fields before signing, including text, choices and dates. Collect only the information you actually need.

Signature and review controls

Choose whether a signature is required and whether the customer can correct their details before signing.

Communication and expiry

Use the email, reminder and expiry options available in your account to keep the review process organised.

THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE REQUEST

One account. More ways to get paid.

Choose the route that matches how your customer buys—not a one-size-fits-all payment journey.

What can I include in a customer contract?

You can prepare formatted terms, a title, a summary, customer information and relevant commercial details. Make sure the wording accurately describes your own agreement.

Does every contract need a signature?

No. The signature requirement is configurable. When enabled, the customer must complete the electronic-signature step before the contract is recorded as signed.

Can the customer complete a form before signing?

Yes. Contracts supports an optional customer intake form before signing, with relevant fields such as text, dates and choices. This is separate from the NeroForm payment-link product.

Can I request a deposit instead of the full amount?

Yes. Payment rules include the full contract amount, an upfront deposit or a custom amount due now. You can also prepare an agreement with no payment requirement.

Does a signed contract mean the customer has paid?

No. Signing and payment are separate outcomes. Check the contract status and the recorded payment status before treating any required payment as settled.

Can customers correct their contact details?

When you enable the relevant option, customers can correct permitted details before signing. Review the information and controls when preparing the agreement.

Can Contracts replace professional advice on agreement wording?

The tool helps you prepare and manage the online review, signing and payment journey. It does not write the correct commercial or legal terms for every business; arrange appropriate advice on your agreement when needed.

Make agreement the start of a better customer journey.

Put the details, review, signature and payment steps in one clear experience—with separate outcomes you can follow.
